At times, I write a blog post and just feel it isn't the time to share or God puts another topic on my heart. This evening, I noticed 73 drafts and felt it was time to open them. This blog post was back on August 7, 2015. When I went to change the date to today I had to go through all the months from August 2015 to now... Days sure seem to get shorter and shorter with every passing day. As I scrolled week after week; month after month I was thanking God for getting us through all those days. Below is the draft that I will now post from August 2015..... Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Day after Day Ryan and I cling to our faith in Jesus Christ! Madison is sick! Getting her smile to come out has been difficult, the nights have been long and the days way too short. Regardless, what is going on in and around us today we have HOPE! We know that God has a plan and is in complete control! We pray that God's love pours out of us and fills this hosiptal! God use, mold, and guide our time here in St, Louis.

Recently, I heard a statistic that 93% of marriages where a child is terminally ill resulted in divorce. This raised my curiosity so I researched a little more... to no surprise when a marriage is faced with a trial, change, or challenge the marriage is shaken. There is lots that is different, but one BIG thing that is the same is God's role in our marriage! Marriage takes THREE! God's guidance, peace, grace, and love is essential! Marriage takes work! Ryan and I will be attending a marriage conference that Metro Community Church is offering. The topic is on communication. It is an overnight stay and I have heard only wonderful things! We would love for you to join us! Getting our marriage where God wants it is key!
