After a week of sleeping in Harrison and Mae's room (would pray for them until I fell asleep) I've gotten a migraine. Thankful Ryan has taken charge of the kids since we've gotten home from St.Louis. I'm getting ready to eat then back to bed. Good News Is: Harrison and Mae don't have monsomy 7 at this time. Our prayer obviously is they never get it, but no one can promise us that. Dr. Bhatla heard from St.Jude and the kids qualify for a study they are doing so St.Jude should be contacting me! Not so good news: We knew Harrison and Mae had bone marrow suppression, but it is worse than they thought. The space they look at should be filled with 80% cells and they both fill about 30% of the area. At this time we will continue to monitor and still no answers to why. Madison's white cell count has doubled. She is fighting an infection of some kind so they took a urine sample today. She hasn't ran fevers (thank God). We didn't hear back so we are waiting for results yet again. Thank you for all your love and prayers! Praying that by getting the kids in the study we will get more answers. Fallon amazes the Lash Family! We sure love her! Today she walked down the hallway and I could barely hold back the tears!! God please continue to move mountains for her!

Finally, a Lash baby has natural curly hair like me❤️ The rain and humidity has added more curl! The kids and I spent the afternoon/evening making banana bread for several special people in our life! The kids want to do this every week so looks like I'm going to be busy. Praying you are having a relaxing, rainy evening.
Still no results so assuming I will get them tomorrow when we are at clinic! Please continue to pray! Dr. Hugge called this afternoon and still waiting for the genetic results. Those results should be in Wednesday or Thursday. Love this verse! A humbling day and evening letting God guide me! I love when my day is on "Kenya time!" (When we were on our missions trip we lived with and among Kenyans. Being on time was never a priority for them. For example, if they are having a coffee date they talk until finish then move to the next appointment. I've learned to appreciate this and even allow a few "Kenya time" days!) Being with people, loving people, and no where else to be! ❤️ Remember the greatest commandment!
Matthew 22:37–40 37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Well, no news on Harrison and Mae today... Not sure why they didn't call today. Ryan had a good report! No torn meniscus! No surgery! He has IT band syndrome so with some therapy should get better. I wait all year from my tree to look like this! It will only last two weeks, but absolutely gorgeous! This tree was literally leaning on its side a couple of months ago and thankfully it's root system was strong! Slowly week by week we pulled it back up. The truth is life can knock you down, but if your root system is strong you will survive!
A wonderful morning worshiping with the Hess Family and Mt. Vernon Central Christian Church. This was our first time in a church since July. We expected our first Sunday back in a church we would be at our own (Altamont Christian), but God has other plans. As soon as we walked in this verse was on the screen. Thank you God for continuing to guide our lives and letting us be your hands and feet. Over the next couple of months we will be speaking at area churches sharing the love of God in the midst of trials.
A special thank you to my parents for staying with Madison so we could attend Cole and Meadow's baptisms! The Hess Family has become good friends of ours and so excited to see what God has done in their lives this past year. After returning home we headed to the neighbors for homemade ice cream! On our walk back home Ryan captured this picture! I love it and love the shadows in the picture. |
