I pray for the day Madison can partake in all activities. Recently, I've felt the importance to take Harrison and Mae on two hour dates. Last week we went swimming and today we went to the free movie in Vandalia. The kids see me taking Madison to clinic, doing meds everyday multiple times, and as I do feel they understand they are little. They are kids! We need quality time together and with those we love. Madison spends those few hours I'm away keeping Great Gran and Pop young❤️ A win, win situation. Over the last few weeks I've learned even more the importance of being "fluid." Willing to go whenever and wherever God calls. I've also learned that he calls us to be what we've never been.

A weekend at home! We worked and played outside all day yesterday and rested today! We enjoyed our time together! Madison looked and felt great Friday and Saturday, but today the stomach pain has increased. No diaherea so that is a plus... Unsure on the plan God has for her this week. I will be calling doctors tomorrow. We went for a Sunday drive this evening and a road that used to be rocked is now nothing, but dirt.. Ryan said, "Well, this road isn't as smooth as it used to be!" I reached for his hand and replied, "Welcome to life! (Then I smiled)" The terrain we walk on changes (sometimes minute by minute), but God's presence stays the same. Be careful of all the potholes! Have a blessed week and remember you only get this week once❤️
Below you will find the document in three different formats!
A special thank you to the Thompson Family for orginizing a toy drive for Madison's birthday, coming to St.Louis today to deliver the toys, and most importantly meeting our Glennon Family! Thank you to all who donated items the staff and children are so excited!!! We celebrated Madison's birthday with our Glennon Family today! Thank you to Friends of Kids with Cancer for the gifts, decor, and cupcakes! The pictures show how much love was shared today! We are blessed!
Happy 2nd Birthday Madison! A wonderful day celebrating! We did everything on a small scale this year... Ice cream with Nena and Papa Lash and Roe family Sunday evening and ice cream with my immediate fam tonight. Madison still isn't 100% so planning to party hard on her re-birthday July 16th❤️ Thank you to all the texts, calls, and messages that were sent her way today! Today I vowed to stay clear of my phone, no FB, and only do blog once the littles were in bed! The stress, demands, and noise was so minimal I'm continuing this the rest of the week. The kids are still adjusting to being seperated last week and with Madison and I gone two long days this week we need quality time together. Last week I realized the stress and noise had been building and this week is all about refocusing. I feel I refocus all the time, but in this world it is so easy to get distracted. Take time to evaluate where your energy is going... If it is going in a negative direction change course! Thankful for the past year! Thankful for all the blessings, trials, and most all another year celebrating my babies! Remember we will never get today again!❤️ So eat the ice cream🎉 These three are apart of my purpose on this earth... This week is about putting what is important and needed back in the barn...to be continued.
