An overall amazing weekend! Mae turned 3, Madison has started the engraftment process, and much needed time with Harrison and Mae. Madison is having extreme stomach issues and vomiting. The doctors are working on finding her a med to ease these problems. Ryan and I's hearts are hurting for the Watts Family (our minister is in Barnes with a recent diagnosis of guillain barre syndrome. The link has more of his condition https://www.facebook.com/jody.d.watts/posts/1143466619001996 Our friends Kevin and Katie brought their beautiful daughter to transplant Tuesday and Fallon has been having complications this weekend. They moved Fallon to the PICU last night. Our lives and our journey is not about us, but those we come in contact with. God has blessed Ryan and I with empathy and love for others. Please be in prayer for all these families! It's not just us fighting! True Christianity is focusing on others and allowing them to see Jesus in Us! Madison and I love Lauren Daigle and the song O'Lord has touched us today! Below are the lyrics: "O' Lord" Whoa... Challenge for the week: Be intentional to encourage someone near you!

A great few hours away to celebrate our Mae! We went to Cheesecake Factory and shopping for new dresses! Mae is definitely our beauty queen! Please be in prayer for our friend Fallon tonight. Ryan and I always wanted our kids close together so they would grow up together.. The last two days Madison has been pointing to the kids' framed pictures and wanting to hold them... This week has brought many raw emotions, but the hardest to handle has been Madison's longing for Harrison and Mae. Being so little she hasn't noticed her hair being gone, her face swelling, but has noticed her brother and sister not being around. Madison's friend Fallon came to the bone marrow unit Tuesday. Please be in prayer for Fallon and her parents (Kevin and Katie). You can follow Fallon's FB page called "Faith for Fallon" I know it is Friday, but going to do a video later in the weekend:) As Madison is in the hospital Ryan and I have tried to keep a schedule for Harrison and Mae. All of the kids are important and we love all of them equally. Tonight Ryan took Harrison fishing (both of them love doing this-definitely a father/son bonding time) and Mae-bug helped make her birthday cake! It melts my heart to see the kids happy and enjoying the day God has given them. I'm so excited about seeing Harrison and Mae Saturday 3 weeks is way too long! Today has been a wonderful day! Madison now loves skittles, enjoyed all the cards that were sent, and even had enough energy to play! Thank you for praying for Madison. Days like today make the bad ones tolerable. The love you have for your child is indescribable and life changing. Thank you God for Harrison, Mae, and Madison. Praying for and over your kids every day is beyond important! “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6). |
