Madison will be going to clinic tomorrow instead of Thursday. It will be a busy day for her. Please pray for the time we are at the hospital tomorrow. We will be seeing some extra special families tomorrow! Please continue to pray for all of our friends and those that God has placed in our path!

![]() Every day I thank God for Ryan Lash! Last week I was sharing with a friend several reasons why I love him.... Without even thinking words poured out of my mouth and even a smile showed up on my face! Why do you love your spouse? Have you told them lately? The last 10 months the growth I have seen in Ryan melts my heart. While I was away Ryan took care of not only his responsibilities, but mine. I'm still learning about things he did! (Styling Mae's hair, "how was your day" story time every night, etc.) Sometimes I don't think people know all that he had on his plate. Many people don't know that he ran on about three hours of sleep each night because he had so much going on. God and I do and it doesn't go unnoticed. Honestly, we share stories often and most of the time I look at him with pure admiration! I know how blessed I am, to have him next to me on this crazy ride of life. His love for God, pours onto all areas of his life. It is so awesome to see how God has changed and molded him into the man he is today! He leads, provides, and guides our family to the best of his ability. Happy Birthday Ryan! I pray that the year ahead is full of new adventures! PRAYING FOR YOUR SPOUSE EVERY DAY IS A MARRIAGE CHANGER!!!! If you want to know why..... try it!!!! Have a wonderful Sunday and I have a few surprises up my sleeve for the Birthday HUSBAND (if Madison is feeling better)! I told Mae that and she wanted to see what was up my arm (I love her seriousness about life.... no clue where she gets that from! ) A wonderful afternoon out with Mae, Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Pam-Pam! The love and support from my hometown Vandalia means so much to us! Seeing my cousins and their little girls dancing their hearts away brought tears to my eyes!!!! Much of our family we haven't seen for months making today even more special!!!❤️❤️❤️ Thank you again VPAC for an amazing show! Madison had a rough day. She broke out in a GVH rash all over her back and neck. We are trying to slowly get her off her anti-rejection meds so praying this isn't a sign we are going too fast. Little Miss hasn't had the easiest road post-transplant and praying for it to get easier.
She ate very little today and also was fussy. Praying tomorrow she is back to her happy self! She loves her flip flops and rarely takes them.... We are ready for Spring!!! Mae is definitely the future doctor of our family! I cut my finger today on a sharp knife and she was there to the rescue! I told her, "Mae, you better give me a discount since I am your teacher!" Of course, she had no clue what I was talking about❤️😂 Mae so badly wanted to start dance classes this year, but due to Madison's health we had to hold off. Tomorrow Mae, Mom, and I are going on a girls date to see the dancers! Mae is so excited! This picture showed up on fb this morning. Tears fell. So thankful Madison is with us today. I due miss our little baby and breaks my heart her baby months were in the hospital. ❤️
Today's devotion read, "sometimes were so busy focusing on the mess that we miss the miracles." Being completely honest we have been through a lot the last several months and at times it does seem like a complete mess. Ryan and I have tried not to focus on the mess and instead focus on God. By doing that we have seen several miracles some have been small others have been big. We have seen God himself do miracles and also God us others to be his hands and feet. We have seen daily miracles from God that we have not ignored. We have seen God heal and intervene at Cardinal Glennon, watching God as he heals Madison, seen several children that have fought cancer and now in remission, the joy and laughter that fills the halls of the hospital and our home, we have been blessed by random acts of kindness, bills paid when we needed them, meals dropped off at our door unannounced, and God allowing us to share his love with others. Miracles happen every day they come in several different ways. At one point in my life I didn't notice all of God's miracles. The miracle of my kids being completely healthy, the miracle of their smiling faces, the miracle of having a home, and the miracle of having a loyal and loving husband. Over the last year, God has rearranged my plate and taken a few things off of it so I can embrace all of this miracles and blessings. Mae was in clinic with Madison and I today. She pretended to be Fallon's, Declan's, and Madison's Doctor. Stethoscope, pen, and paper she visited her patients. The entire way home she asked question after question. Her love is deep for these little patients. We Lash girls love our Fallon and Katie so much we sneak into their room to say hello!❤️❤️
