What does growth look like? Are you continuing to grow emotional, spiritually, and intellectually? Do you embrace growth or run from the word? Some will find those three questions challenging like myself. For me personally; growth is essential, challenging, and motivating to continue to strive to be whom God has called me to be. Depending on the area growth looks different, feels different, yet can shape who we are all the same. God has given me many opportunities! When I was in high school, I was able to sit a couple days a week with a very wise woman named; Mrs. Adams. I will never forget while playing cards she shared, "Lindsay, the moment you stop caring about growth is the moment you die." The last 7 weeks of graduate school has been one big growing pain! The focus of the semester is to learn the counseling basics and deal with relationships and emotions we have stuffed inside for years, days, or even hours. GROWTH! The push to connect who we are and who we want to be, Are you the person you want to be? Where do you need a growing pain? The last seven weeks I've written papers, shared in counseling sessions, been completely vulnerable to growth, cried more, and have learned a new language of expressing who I am inside. My challenge is for you to join me on the journey of growth and refusing to "be okay" when your "not okay." Please click on the "contact" tab above and expect an email from me over the weekend:) Love and blessings, Lindsay
