Decorating for Christmas is no joke! We started Friday and enjoyed the lights on Sunday! The kids are in love with the Nativity that was once in my Uncle Dave, Aunt Brenda, and Jenny's yard at Christmas.... several years later it all still works! The hustle and bustle of life makes it easy to lose sight of the real reason for the season may this holiday season slow us all down!

All homes can't be saved, but our parent's home still has years left! A two-bedroom home filled with many memories, laughter, and survival. This home has been a blessing for 35 years... as teenagers, newly married, expecting their first child my parents begin their family in this home!
Today the process of putting "love" from one home into another home began. God always has a plan and continues to provide for those who love and trust him. At one moment today all windows and doors were out of the home and you could see the core! It's at that moment I realized that square footage means nothing, but what you do with it! I can honestly say as a child we lived, grew, and embraced every inch of our home! Our week has been long and filled with very few hours of sleep. Madison has been battling an upper respiratory infection and her nights have been filled with endless coughing. Thankfully, today she had appointments already scheduled in STL.
Madison had a full day of ultrasounds, appointments (ophthalmology, urology, and oncology) and exhaustion. Dr. Lash still knows how to draw labs, give shots, and diagnosis all cuts and scraps😂. Medicine on board for her cough, waiting for all test results on kidneys, and praying for a night FULL of SLEEP 😴 |
