The three amigos and I spent the day laughing and being silly. We all enjoyed the rainy weather and much needed time together! Now Getting a good costume picture was very interesting......

Regardless, of what is going on around you or even the battles inside of you... Know God has placed you where you're at in this very moment for a reason, remember that and trust HE is working everything out!

Friends enjoy your weekend and remember your focus! The world is full of distractions! Satan loves when you stumble, struggle, and waver in your faith.

1 Peter 5:9
Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Thanks Deb Deal for taking the picture of the tree in front of my grandparents house! This was the first fall that I've missed seeing it! Grandma called me last Tuesday to tell me it was all red:)

Madison had a better day today minus a rash that covered her body for a few hours. Thankfully we didn't have to go back into clinic today! Praying we have the vomiting under control and the weekend is calm. Madison ate three dove chocolates today!!!! This is a picture of her eating her chocolates being funny!

Maebry had her Halloween party at school today. She dressed up like a Doctor Mommy! She was so excited before and after school!

Day 104: Madison had a rough day...

Well, we were back in clinic today. Madison started vomiting again. Dr. Bhatla wanted to admit her, but thankfully I was able to convince her otherwise. Praying one of the three new meds added to her already insane med regimen works. If not, we will be back in clinic tomorrow and she will be admitted.  She has mild gvh disease of the gut and esophagus and the best way to take care of this is by a steroid.  The problem is she also has HHV-6 of the gut and esophagus that was reactivated after chemo. By giving Madison a steroid the HHV-6 will get worse. Needless to say we are having a meeting with the doctors on Monday to discuss the plan of action. Madison also has a bone marrow biopsy Monday to make sure she is still 100% engrafted and MDS/Monosomy 7 is still gone.

As you can tell, our life is a complete roller coaster. Luckily, I gave up driving months ago and God is in complete control. Madison and I are just along for the ride. On a more positive note:) Harrison and Mae are feeling better and if all goes as planned they will be in St.Louis on Saturday! The kids won't be trick or treating this year, but we plan on having a Family Halloween Dance Party:)

Harrison and Mae received their preschool pictures today! Of course, I think they are perfect!

Have a blessed rest of your week!  Enjoy the last week of OCTOBER!!!

Our morning began with Madison running a low grade temperature... 100.4 puts her in the hospital. She was in a great mood just exhausted all day and wanted to sleep. Her temperature went down and she enjoyed some play time with Ms.Danielle.

Thank you so much to all who donated items for the silent auction for the Trap Shoot. So many local businesses have supported us by donating to Madison's benefits. Thank you!!! A special thank you to Ms. Danielle for helping me address and stamp 120+ thank you cards!!! I love and appreciate you!!

Madison got a card in the mail with her favorite animal... PUPPY! I think Madison said, "puppy," at least 100 times today!!! It's the small things that melt Madison's heart...and mine.

I got a surprise today!! Ryan came up and took me to dinner and Walmart!!!! It was so nice to be able to talk to one another face to face! We appreciate technology during this season, but so needed to see one another. I fall more in love with Ryan every day and truly appreciate all he does for our family!  Praying for a calm rest of our week!
