Day 198: Just let it be...

The demands of mommy-hood can be completely overwhelming... Especially, when your Mae lays on your legs to take a nap so you can't move❤️ Thank you Mae for slowing me down today. I needed to nap with you!

The crazy of the week has made me enjoy just being home! Three trips to St.Louis is hard on the entire family.
Rain boots and umbrellas are symbolic to our family. So every year we all get awesome new rain boots! Bring on the rain so we can dance❤️

Day 197: Weekend is Here!

Since Madison hasn't been feeling the best; I got out our hospital bag this morning to take with.... Yes, we have a bag that is packed and ready to grab. Harrison and Mae noticed this bag was on my bed this morning and tears and questions rolled from them.... Mornings like today break my heart! So thankful for loved ones who come along Ryan and I to help with the kids, give us words of encouragement, and just love us.

Madison has been very fussy this week and we noticed a quarter size lump under the skin on her collarbone. After an x-ray, dye test, and her surgeon looking at her they think it's an infection under the surface between her broviac line and skin. Madison will be given an antibiotic three times a day. We will return to clinic on Monday for a repeat EKG and possible ultrasound of the lump. Thankful we are home and they didn't keep her.

Thank you for all the prayers for our family. Please continue to pray for Reece, Melissa, and the boys.

As you tell by the picture Madison also had a rough day. We will be returning to St.Louis tomorrow morning. We have contemplated taking her tonight... so we will see. I think the saying, "When it rains it pours" is fitting for our day.

Please be in prayer this evening for Reece and Melissa. Kayley will soon be with her heavenly father. Please pray for peace and comfort. Please be praying instead of having internet time this evening.

A busy morning with Madison's EIP meeting. She has qualified for all services so our week will be pretty full starting next week. Madison has been extremely fussy the last few days, but this evening was back to herself.

All the minion hype we decided to get the movie... Movie night at the Lash house. Kids love it and I'm still trying to decide.
