The improvements Madison has made this week are nothing short of a miracle. Her liver and kidneys look amazing, her gvh rash is gone, and her blood levels are climbing on their own! God is still in the healing business and he reminded us of that this week. Madison is still having eating issues and still vomiting non-stop, but those are small things compared to where she was last week. She loves water and Dr. Pepper....and loves to play in her food, but doesn't eat. I've decided that will be our focus next week! I've posted two videos this week... The first one is capturing our evening dance. Towards the middle of the video you will see how she shows me she loves me:).... that is right by "sugar." The second video is a "thank you!" Thank you for showing your love towards our family and also our "mission field." Hugs and love to all of you... I cried watching the weather this morning! AMAZING WEEKEND! Get outside and take pics for me!!!!

Madison got rid of a few pumps today!!! This is huge for little miss! She was able to move to a smaller pole making it easier for her to move around! Madison had a great day full of playing, laughing, and enjoying life! Today is the first day I felt like Madison felt really good! Her blood levels are climbing on there own and actually she hasn't had blood or platelets since last Wednesday! ( A huge praise)! God is moving in BIG ways not only within Madison, but through the halls on the 4th floor! My time here I have allowed God to show me things he wants me to see! Today on my way back from saying goodbye to Jaida (she is heading home for five days before having her last treatment) I noticed a little baby in a room all alone that looked to be Madison's age. Being a person who moves when there is a need I packed up some of Madison's toys and a blanket. This season has been so humbling and at times heart breaking. What I have noticed is we are God's hands and feet and the longer I'm here the more I'm reminded of that. Ryan and I are blessed with people who answer God's call and show us his love. Joe Lawson came to visit today. Joe has been a mentor of mine for years! A man of God that inspires me beyond words! Joe has made several trips to see me and today he started out in Springfield and ended up in St.Louis! Joe is God's hands and feet and God knew I needed a hug and someone to pray with me! How are you God's hands and feet? Are you allowing him to use you? Friends, my prayer is you allow God to move within you and around you. Regardless, if your day is great or horrible God needs you to be his hands and feet! I spent an entire day giving Madison tons of different foods that she didn't eat and instead blew me raspberries every time and I mean every time a food item hit her lips. Still a long road ahead before we are able to move to the apartment... Please be in prayer that she eats and I stop eating! This "interactive eating" is killing my diet!😀 I had a very special visitor this afternoon! I needed her more than she'll ever know. Have a wonderful rest of your week and when you eat think of Madison:) (and blow a raspberry). The last two days have been amazing! Good news, then more good news, then more good news! Madison's liver is looking better, 98% of the cells being produced are donor, and MADISON NO LONGER HAS MONOSOMY 7!!!!!! GOD IS THE ULTIMATE HEALER AND WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR MADISON AND OUR ENTIRE FAMILY! I made a quick trip home Monday night and surprised Harrison by picking him up from his first day of school. The kids and I then surprised Ryan @ work! We enjoyed the evening @ home! We played, laughed, and snuggled! Words can't express how much those few hours met to us! I then dropped Maebry off at her first day of preschool this morning! Of course, tears fell and the goodbye was hard, but so thankful I was able to be there! I then made a surprise stop to see Great Gran and Pop! I've never gone more than 30 days seeing them my entire life so you can imagine the emotional state of all three of us when I stopped in... I literally was holding Great Gran while she wept. The love I have for them is beyond words. Pop held my hand tight and tears rolled down his face! It seems like forever since I've heard those words, "Sis, I sure have missed you!' Needless to say I needed the trip home more than I thought... After returning to St.Louis, I toured the Ronald McDonald Apartment that we will be moving into and staying in for 50+ days. The apartment was beyond my expectations. We are still on the wait-list for the transplant apartment that is newer and closer! Either way we know God will put us where he wants us! As you can tell good news then more good news:)
