138: Night at the zoo with my animals...

The kids and I decided to adventure out to the zoo tonight. The kids knew that people would result in us not staying, but thought we would try... We arrived right at 5:20 and NO ONE was there! When I finally found someone who worked at the zoo it was 6:15❤️. They were open we just went in the wrong entrance. We saw a few people on our way out, but I consider our adventure a success! I highly recommend traveling to the St.Louis Zoo and checking out the lights!!!! We had a blast! Also, if you don't want to see anyone park in the south lot, go on a Tuesday, and be there at 5:20❤️

Today has been a rough day for three moms that I love and am very close with! One mom's baby had heart surgery, one mom is grieving a child that passed away this morning at 5:30am (not their child, but a child they have come to love that had the same disease as their child), and a mom who is fearful that the baby they are carrying is sick.

This season I've not only experienced heartache, but am surrounded by it daily. Life and death situations that used to seem so far away are now apart of my life on a daily basis.

When a sister in Christ is in a trial or struggle I'm reminded of the verse....

This life is not intended to be done alone...
