People see and experience the first day of each year differently. Some make these amazing and elaborate resolutions and keep them, others don't care about the month or the year, and most fall in between the extremes.
I've been pondering, "How will I begin my 365 page book?" A brief recap of 2017 or just jump into the new..... make a list of all my blessings... or areas I want to change... or both... Set one goal or no goals... I've decided to approach 2018 with a realistic and humble attitude. There are things I want to grow or change about my life, I'm aware it will take 365 days and possibly some more, but I will begin the journey today. I have written down the areas I want to see growth or change in my life. Writing down things helps me zone in on my focus and intent. May God guide you in all areas of change and growth the upcoming year! Growing pains= GROWTH ~Eliminate my expectations of others (the only one who can meet my needs is Christ). `Follow our monthly budget and use cash only ~Let go of relationships that are unhealthy and don't promote growth ~ Self-care apart of my daily routine ~ Eliminate my sugar intake ~ Spend more time investing in those God puts on my heart and less time chasing people I want in my life.

The year that we have experience has a lot of good things and there are also moments that we want to bury in our minds. This is a new year and for us to have a beautiful start we should have a positive mindset and we should have the right attitude towards life so that we will be rewarded. Let us all throw the negative things and forget these things for they don't matter anymore. Life goes on and on and we should not let the negativity build in our minds. Let us all have a positive mindset and be grateful for the blessings we have right now.
