Thank you to all who are, have, or will serve our Country! Our Country is what it is because of God and your service. Thank you! Thank you to all the spouses, children, parents, siblings, and extended family for supporting your Veteran... Basic training, deployment, and station locations that take your Veteran away from home is difficult on everyone. Sending prayers of comfort and peace to all the families that have lost their Veteran. Thankful for all my family members that are or have been in the service!!! (Especially, my brother, Kyle) Madison UpdateWell, a calm day in the apartment quickly changed to a day in the clinic:( This morning Madison's broviac line broke. I use her broviac line to administer meds so it is very important! They repaired the line, but we can't use it for 24 hours. Thankfully, I convinced Dr.Bhatla to let us go back to the apartment. Dr.Bhatla wanted to admit her into the hospital. Madison now has two peripheral IV lines and her port accessed so I can give her the meds she needs. We will be at clinic tomorrow at 8am to meet the surgeon about the g-button. Please pray our night is calm and the broviac lines work tomorrow!

I have been closely following your journey these past several months by either talking to your sweet mama and dad or by reading or watching your blogs. The one thing that always stands out to me is you, young lady. Your faith and endurance are such a great example for any of us to look to during any season of life. I find you truly remarkable. I watch in utter awe as I witness your faith, strength and courage to get through this with your daughter and family. You are loved, Lindsay. I tell your mother you are a beast. You truly are. And someday when you write your first of many books, I want a signed copy!! Praying for you every.single.day. I love you kiddo!!
