Madison is still healthy so we are planning on being at Cardinal Glennon at 5:45am for a 7:30am surgery. Please say extra prayers I've been concerned about this surgery, which is odd for me...So thankful for Madison and her amazing fun-loving spirit! She spent the afternoon looking out the window yelling, "Bubba and Mae-Mae!"
Madison and I worked on our "We are so Thankful for our Cardinal Glennon Nurses" project all day! We are going to decorate the nurses lounge and show our appreciation tomorrow... Madison has amazing nurses and doctors which makes all of this more tolerable! We were in clinic all morning. The news reports on France, ISIS, Syrian refugees, etc. was heartbreaking.... The reporters were adding in their opinions, which was causing more arguing... When the yelling got to loud Madison pointed her index finger and said, "No, no." Having taught US History for 6 years I have an opinion, but not going to share... What I will share is our job as Christians is to share the love of Jesus Christ. Where you are right now is your mission field! Vandalia, St.Elmo, Brownstown, Flora, Louisville, Altamont, Effingham, Highland, St.Louis, etc. where God has placed you is your mission field! Share the love of Jesus Christ with family and friends! Let your light shine in this dark world!
