The girls and I headed to St.Louis early this morning... The girls watched Veggie Tales and I listed to Living on the Edge with Chip Ingram. I started listening to the series "Good to Great in God's Eyes" and literally all day I thought about the message. I encourage you to take a listen you won't be disappointed. http://player.subsplash.com/e7d67aa Mr. Ingram challenged the listeners to look in your rear-view mirror to mentally build your own personal Mount Rushmore. Think about four or five people that have positively impacted or influenced your life. Who are the most pivotal people who have had a positive influence in your life? I enjoyed listening to his five people and why... My goal this week is to not only write down the five, but reach out to them. Some of them are living and others are not, but Mr. Ingram inspired me to this task. The girls melt my heart and for only about 20 minutes on the way home they decided to take a nap. Every day is an adventure! We had to go another route home since the road was closed and I was able to drive by a dear friend's house. I can hear her saying in heaven, "Lindsay, the picture in the newspaper of your family was beautiful so glad your home." My prayer is when I'm no longer on this earth that God's love and positive words will come to mind when people think of me. This world longs for us to focus on the negative and God longs for us to focus on him!
Happy Monday friends! Who would be on your Mount Rushmore?
