First, I want to share how perfect the day was! The kids and I were outside till 2pm then napped till 4pm. The kids laughed and were simply kids! No schedule just a day outside in the beautiful weather. Mae, Harrison, and I ran a mile and little Madison was our coach from the stroller. We went to the park in St.Elmo and the kids had the entire place to themselves. Harrison ran the bases, Mae played on the swings, and I let Madison get out for 5mins and walk! The pictures say it all! We had a wonderful day together! After nap Erica (nurse at Cardinal Glennon) called and Madison's blood cultures came back from yesterday (she had a break in her line). The labs showed it was gram positive cocci. So she is being admitted and will stay till at least Friday to receive antibiotics. Please pray for Harrison and Mae. The continual change and separations are paying a toll on all of us. While I was packing Mae was expressing her sadness to her baby doll.
Please pray for Madison that no symptoms appear and antibiotics work quickly and the infection doesn't spread through blood stream. Please pray that God uses us at Cardinal Glennon and his will be done.
