Day 24: Pray for the Liver

When starting this journey they give you a list of ALL the things that could happen... As parents you can either read, worry, and freak out over all of them or like what we did give them to God and IF one become a reality deal with it....

The last two days Madison's liver and kidneys haven't been happy. She gained 1lb in a day, abdomen swollen and painful to touch, and lots of swelling in face. Yesterday, we cut back on fluids and increased the amount of lasix she was getting.

Today her kidneys seem (based on blood levels) to be happier, however her liver is still mad.

VOD disease can happen. At this point Madison is having several symptoms, but doctors are adjusting and handling them as they appear. Does she have this disease? A loaded question praying that handling the symptoms the disease will be reversed.

To end the day her broviac decided to break again... The praises for the day she ate an apple jack, butt looks better, and I haven't lost my mind... Yet:)
