I can't thank God enough for blessing us with three amazing children. Today was Harrison and Mae's third bone marrow aspirate and biopsy. They both did so well! Maebry was using the restroom right before the procedure and looked up at me and asked, "Mommy, how many more times do we have to do this?" The kids always ask questions and we are always honest with them. For some reason her heartfelt question broke my heart. I obviously replied, "I don't know Mae, but I do know your very strong!"
I thank God every day that although we don't know the genetic mutation or how to prevent it we can detect the disease before it becomes high risk AML! We don't have any results today, but will next week. Please continue to pray that the disease isn't present. Today overall was a wonderful day! Nurse Karen came in on her day off, the kids were spoiled by "Baskets of Hope," we were able to see almost all of our friends, and most of all we enjoyed the day creating memories with Nene and Papa! God continues to bless us and unveil his masterpieces! Highlights of our Day: Madison loved seeing Harrison have tubes too! Ms.Karen let Mae pull her own iv out and she was in heaven (she will be in the medical field)! Harrison wouldn't let Mae pull his out!😂 Harrison and Mae played doctor on Papa while we waited for Madison to finish IVIG! Maebry got a new dress!❤️
