The last two days have been very hard and truthfully has stretched me to my breaking point.... I would like to say I could have prevented the break, but the truth is this week one thing after another has been thrown at me... The Ultimate Test! I wish I could stand here and say I passed the test, but humbly I come on my knees.. Romans 3:23 states, "For we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." As a woman of Christ I try every day to be like Jesus, but every day I sin. This season in my life by far as been the hardest. Every day I need God... I would like to say that I have felt that way in all seasons of my life, but truthfully I haven't. This season is one in which I've not only needed God, but I've needed all of him~ his strength, compassion, patience, love, and GRACE. God has shown me what GRACE looks like and truly means. GRACE means to get something that you do not deserve. Also, as a Christian who tries to be like Jesus it is important to extend grace to someone who doesn't deserve it for God has extended his grace to us. I often think to myself, "God, I have given them grace at least twenty times." Then God responds, "How many times have I given you GRACE?" There are tons and tons of people in this world and for "growth purposes" not all of them make our life easy:) Some people are simply in our life to teach us how to give grace! I know many of you are thinking... How does this have anything to do with Madison? Well, let me tell you.... We have lived in the hospital for 38 days in a row! We have seen and spent several hours with 20 different nurses, 9 different doctors, and 34 other random people that work at the hospital... 99.9 percent of them are awesome and make sharing the love of Jesus easy... The other .1 percent is for "growth." It is easy to not extend GRACE, but a reward comes from giving GRACE. It doesn't matter where you are God wants us to GROW and honestly sometimes GROWING PAINS hurt. Just a question to end.... Who do you need to extend GRACE too?? Remember GRACE isn't deserved or earned... Grace is given because God has given us Grace. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – Eating some chocolate ice creamSMILE CAME OUT TODAY
