For all to be healthy Our health is one of the many things we take for granted. It isn't until a loved one or ourselves gets a terminal illness that we see and recognize how important good health is.
This morning the girls were caring for their dolls that were sick. Dr.Mae was listing all their medical diagnoses like a rolodex. Then they were playing with the dolls. Curious of her response I asked, "Your dolls are sick should they be playing and laughing?" Mae said, "Mom! Really! Playing, laughing, and loving our babies make them feel better." I'm thankful for their exposure for one simple reason EMPATHY! We have and will continue to be in hospitals whether as patients or simply to love and embrace others. How can we help? Contact your local hospital and ask to speak to the social worker. They will know how you can directly help those in your area. Yes, I called St.Anthony hospital and waiting to get a call back with needs. It literally took 10mins. to make the call and get connected to the correct area. One thing I constantly remind myself of is we are the church! Sharing God's love is key❤️ Pray about where God can use you. ❤️
