Day 68: Let your FAITH be bigger than your fear

In one week Harrison and Mae will have their 6 month bone marrow biopsy. We know they have bone marrow suppression and pray daily it doesn't turn into MDS or MDS/Monosomy 7. Since Madison's diagnosis Harrison and Mae have had CBCs (blood drawn to check blood levels) every two weeks. In addition, every 6 months they will have a bone marrow biopsy. The doctors at Cardinal Glennon have been amazing and love our kids and want to be proactive and cautious. Although, we appreciate that fear seems to creep in every time a test is done.

This wooden plaque was given to me yesterday and I've looked at it several times today. Satan wants fear of "things, events, relationships" to overcome us, paralyze us, and rule our lives. However, God says, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous hand." - Isaiah 41:10

Fear is mentioned several times in the bible. God knows we struggle with fear and anxiety. The question is will we turn those over to God or hang on to them?

God gives us all choices! My choice was to spend the day in prayer and turn over this fear! My choice was to ask God to lay a healing hand on Harrison and Mae. My choice was to trust God and his path for our family.

We all have the choice. Write down a fear you are currently struggling with and ask for God's presence and then give him the fear.

Here is a quick reference for more bible verses on fear... Although, I enjoy the Internet getting into your bible is important.

Madison is a constant reminder of God's grace and love. Another great day minus a few teething issues!

God said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

This quote is really true. At first, I do not believe in it because for me it was just a scam. I have experienced being in a hard situation in where I have to choose one whose parents I have to be with due to they are about to get divorced. It was really hard for me because I have no idea on what to do. I wanted a complete family, but they are there waiting for their divorce papers to be approved. Until one day, they come back together miraculously.
