"You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow they will be a little bigger then they are today. This day is a gift. Breathe and notice. Smell and touch them; study their faces and little feet and pay attention. Relish the charms of the present. Enjoy today mama. It will be over before you know it" -Jen Hatmaker We all started school this week! The kids think it's pretty awesome I've had homework already! God willing Madison will enjoy preschool in a school setting all year. We are very blessed with educators who keep us informed on illnesses, clean the rooms with purpose, and want Madison in the classroom as much as possible. In addition, Madison is doing great! She has grown so much the last six months both physically and emotionally. Ryan and I are excited about the journey ahead.
We wrapped up our first week back to school with a Cardinal's game! Thank you Friends of Kids with Cancer for the tickets! We all enjoyed the game, the weather was perfect, and the popcorn was amazing!

You really have to cherish every moment you have with your children. Our time with our kids is not permanent. The day will come that we will have to leave them and they need to learn how to stand on their own feet. As much as how heartbreaking that sounds, we really have to accept it because it is reality. That is why we have to spend every day with them as if it is our last because we never know when it would be our time to go.
