A song came on the radio this morning. The rain was pouring down as I was praying. A family close to Ryan and I lost their son over the weekend... As the song continued, my heart was filled with the holy spirit. I have NO explanation for suffering, but know that even when it hurts I will praise God! Life can hurt. The burdens and grief that others feel is numbing and painful. May we all lay the hurt at the feet of Jesus! Life is short, but more importantly we are the light to those that need the Lord! Take this mountain weight Take these ocean tears Hold me through the trial Come like hope again Even when the fight seems lost I'll praise you Even when it hurts like hell I'll praise you Even when it makes no sense to sing Louder then I'll sing your praise

hanks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
