As we watched the Super Bowl; Sunday night, we felt the Falcons had it in the bag. Touchdown one after another. Ryan even said, "Are the Patriots even going to play tonight?" How many times have we felt like the Patriot team? Helpless, frustrated, and concerned about the second half! After the game was over I told Ryan, "That is hope right there!" Regardless, of what the scoreboard says; how you feel, or what others think it's not over until God calls you home. A bad first half of the game doesn't mean- time to give up, throw in the towel, etc. the game isn't over at half time. The last several weeks I've been reminded over and over again God's not done. God is still working, forming us, and showing who he is and who he has called us to be. The hail and rain this morning left a beautiful sky! I was unable to get all my miles in, but was reminded of God's grace and love. James 1:12 states, "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."
Hope! Don't give up! Stay focused on the Lord! God isn't done working!
