I sat in class last week and heard the words, "Grit, do you have it?" Honestly, my first response was, "Really, I don't know?" Grit, grit, grit.... I repeated those words to myself as my internal gears turned. I'm a person who starts out strong, gets it all done in record time, etc. Long-term goals... well, I've been living in the short-term for two years and honestly haven't thought much past today. What are your long-term goals? "Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals. Grit is having stamina. Grit is sticking with your future, day-in, day-out. Not just for the week, not just for the month, but for years. And working really hard to make that future a reality. Grit is living life like it’s a marathon, not a sprint." -Dr. Angela Lee Duckworth Psychologist I wrapped up my first graduate course this week. As the class was challenging; I enjoyed working my school brain and all the content. Enjoying the week off before the next course begins. The Little's are doing good and excited about spending the summer in a pool❤️
