Every time we walk into the Costas Center I ask Nicole, "How are you?" and her response never skips a beat "Just living the dream!" with a smile and laugh at the end. Her heart and love for the kids puts a smile on all our faces! Great Gran made the trip to STL with us today! I'm pretty sure Madison's favorite person in the world is Great Gran! Madison carried around her purse all day and the two of them laughed and talked! I love this picture I captured! Speaks volumes of the love we have for Great Gran! Our trips to STL are less, but the days are LONG! Bedtime couldn't come soon enough today! We left the house around 6:45am and walked in around 6:45pm.... The low down of our trip today- we are going to try a new style of frame because her eye lashes keep rubbing on her glasses making one eye lazy..., her leg is healing good, our flu shots don't cover the junk that is going around so will remain on lockdown... Madison will have a bone density scan after cast comes off ... several labs were drawn today to see the strength of her immune system... she received two vaccines... want to make sure new med for kidney issues is working so collected more urine... Madison's cast should come off at the end of February... Harrison and Maebry will have a bone marrow aspiration in April..... AND...... MADISON PAINTED HER OWN NAILS PURPLE' Harrison and Maebry enjoyed the day with Aunt Skyler! Blessed to have her as a sister! The kids have been out of school all week due to all the sickness going around. I would rather be safe than in the hospital with Madison! Skyler stays busy as a nurse, but was willing and able to give her day off to play with the kids. Just Living The Dream
