Madison had her port removed today- an in and out deal that didn't go as smooth as we all thought or expected! The catheter didn't come out as easily as they typically do getting stuck in the subclavain vein and breaking off. Damaging the vessel was a concern so they called in a heart surgeon to help the general surgeon. They did a heart cath to help push the other cath out. After four hours the catheter was completely removed. Please be in prayer for no infections and healing. Due to the complication Madison was given more heparin making a bone marrow biopsy too risky. She will have that procedure done later in the month. We've been in STL the last two days and glad tomorrow we will be home! .We will know the results of Harrison and Mae's biopsies at some point next week. Storms make trees take deeper roots.Ryan took this picture Saturday... storms are scary, raw, and revealing. Yesterday, one of our Glennon families heard the word "relapse" for the third time. Please pray for Jeremy and Erica as they share this news with Gabriel. Ryan and I are heartbroken for them! The number of Littles' that have relapsed in the past few months makes us sick! Please lift our Glennon family up in prayers! Many of our prayers lately have been filled with tears! You can follow Gabriel's journey at "Fight on With Gabriel" via Facebook.
