The last three weeks have been full of adventures and adjusting to our school schedules. Madison is loving preschool and still disappointed she doesn't get to go every single day like Harrison and Mae. Our entertainment for the last few weeks... We dug out the old "gocart" with no motor❤️😂 We like to be a "little country" south of St.Elmo. I was the given the opportunity to spend a week celebrating a dear friend's birthday in Japan. We visited Tokyo, a Zen Garden, Kamakura, two baseball games, and I had several other first-time experiences. By far the best part was spending time with my dear friend! One of the greatest things I took from the trip is I enjoy slow. The fast pace of city life just isn't my speed. Running from light to light; running stairs, and just plain walking fast with a purpose is exhausting. I've had my fast pace seasons; which makes my new speed all the more special. I've spent the last week literally walking like a turtle, loving on Ryan and the kids, getting caught up on papers for school, and resting.
