The last of Summer Vacation...

We have enjoyed our summer vacation! Swimming, mini-trips, weddings, moving our family and friends, addition to our family (new cousin), play dates, etc. we have enjoyed every second! As we wrap up the last full week of summer break; (the kiddos and I all start next week) I found myself a little sad. We've all been told how fast time goes, but WOW I wasn't expecting it to go this fast! With Harrison going into 1st grade, Mae in kindergarten, and Madison in preschool... I'm sad! Where are the days going? Am I being the child of God, wife, and mother God has called me to be? 

I ran across a sign today that read, "If you want to change the world, go home and love your family. -Mother Teresa" my heart felt heavy that I;  1. Read it again 2. Bought the sign! Serving others is one thing I enjoy and genuinely love to do; however Mother Teresa's quote is so important! It is vital we evaluate where we are investing our time and energy! I struggle with boundaries and balance; do you? As the school year begins, knowing one's family and personal goals will help guide one's time.  As I said above, "Where does time go?"
