They are watching...

​I was cleaning up the kitchen from breakfast and I heard Mae in her room lifting people up in prayer. I stood at the doorway and she didn't even know I was there. I went to get my phone and recorded a little. Her prayer lasted a good 5 minutes. One person after another. When she walked out of her room I asked her one question.. Why are you praying? Her response was "You do it all the time and it works."

How important is it for us to pray in front of our kids? Or pray in general? I've been reading "Fervent" and wow! Last night I spent the evening in prayer on my passion, direction, intentions.

I remember a point in my life that I didn't know how to pray... God felt miles away. My number one pray for our kids is that they know God is reachable! God is present! God wants a personal relationship with them. God hears them.

God hears you! "Call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:12-13
