A busy, fun, and rewarding day serving others. It is hard for me to get away, but when I do I like doing things for others.
No need to list the projects for God knows what and who they were for. ❤️ I will say that we were able to see our Renko Family in between stops!!! Words can't express how much we have missed them! Also, I was able to hold my niece!❤️ Pretty sure I'm in love with her cuteness! The kids love her too!

We couldn't have asked for a better day! Ms.Fallon turned 2!!! As most of you know we met Fallon, Katie, and Flossy (gma) at the end of April last year! We instantly fell in love with this family (easy to do)! Fallon's entire family follows the same restrictions as we do so it was a safe environment for Fallon and also Madison! We celebrated with Fallon and then started and finished our first 5k as a family! (Minus Mae deciding to break a glow necklace and getting it in her mouth then doing it again 10mins. later and getting it in her eye! No, big deal compared to other events in our life). Debbie, Vince, and Natasha completed the race with us! We,Lash Family; are pretty blessed!
One of our favorite nurses Susan participated in the race and won a medal! She gave it to little Fallon! Prayers for Susan as she competes in a 1/2 marathon at 7am tomorrow morning! Thank you God for giving us our Glennon Family! We all were brought together to glorify you! Please continue to guide the doctors, nurses, and medical staff! God, please heal our children and give us peace and comfort on the road ahead. Yesterday was insane! Harrison seen two doctors and Madison had her typical Thursday clinic day.
Harrison has a foot injury involving his growth plate so he will be in a boot for 2-3 weeks. His first t-ball game is in two week so praying all is well at that point! Madison has B-cells!!!! This is huge and if all continues to go as planned vaccines will begin in September!❤️❤️ We are insanely excited about Fallon's birthday tomorrow and can't wait to celebrate!!! We like everyone else have a long list of things that need to be done outside.... I made Harrison and Mae help me move fence posts and some fencing this morning while Madison had therapy. My little diva Mae didn't like the mud! Lol! Harrison woke up from nap yesterday with a foot that he could walk on... Ryan and I have decided we should still take him to Cardinal Glennon tomorrow to make sure there isn't a fracture in the growth plate in his foot.
Madison has her weekly visit to Cardinal Glennon tomorrow also. She is overall doing well. The only big problem is she can't seem to get rid of the gvhd skin rash. Praying your week is well and you have been able to enjoy the sunshine! This verse has spoken to me this week... Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it. - Proverbs 22:6 This week I've been in much prayer about parenting. On Tuesday, God woke me up from nap time with the kids. I know Ryan and I are the best parents for our kids just like you are for yours. The question that I've thought about all week is, "How does God want us to be parenting our kids?" There is so much noise on the outside of our homes. How do we keep it from entering? The heartbreaking truth is the noise of this world is killing so many. My Facebook newsfeed shared that another local young woman killed herself this week. On average there are 117 suicides each day in the United States. (https://afsp.org/about-suicide/suicide-statistics/) I'm aware, as all of you are; about the noise that surrounds all of our families. How do we protect and parent our children in a way God would be proud? This question I've prayed over all week and this is what I've concluded. I want to challenge you to pray over this question and ask God to reveal his plan for your family. 1.Pray for Harrison, Maebry, and Madison daily! The truth is every child needs different things from you. Asking God to show you how to meet their needs is key. 2. Teach our kids that the noise can be put on mute. Negativity is everywhere! It is emotionally, spiritually, and physically draining. Our kids are little so simply muting the television and showing them that negativity is never going away, but we don't have to listen to it. As they are ready we will be addressing more closely. 3. Telling and showing our kids they are loved by God and us every single day. 4. Sharing with our kids the importance of loving God and reading the bible with our kids daily. 5. Sharing with our kids the importance of loving others. Allowing are kids to be apart of things God is calling us to do for others. 6. Being present! Our kids need us! If we don't guide, listen, and love them the noise of this world will. I'm not going to share my opinion on the politics, headlines in the news, etc. I refuse to fuel the noise that surrounds us all. My concern is too much energy is spent on hate rather than love. Here are some scriptures I lean to when praying and putting this into practice with my own family.
