Madison and I have decided that by the end of this a vacation will be needed... After a nice bowel movement in the tub, the tub decided not to drain... Then after a sponge bath her broviac decided to break randomly causing blood to go everywhere... Being the "nurse in training" I handled with calmness and care.... (Then cried after). Ending the night with the broviac repaired (will find out tomorrow if fixed), gas in our bellies, hope in our eyes, and faith in our hearts. Now you thought you deserved a vacation! 😀

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths. I once was asked if God was driving my life... My response was, "well, of course." The more I thought about it God was driving, but I was the "backseat driver!" You know the one asking all those "what if" questions and stating, "are we there yet!" When a crisis happens in ones life you quickly learn who is driving and how much you trust them. Being a Christian is beyond accepting Jesus into your heart it's laying your entire life at his feet and letting him guide you in EVERY area of your life. Sounds easy??? Always, sounds easy till life happens! Love this song and truly relates to our life. Luke 12:7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. A rough day on mommy today..Madison's hair started coming out. I knew it was going to happen, but never felt fully ready. In the midst, of hair flying her heart rate has been very high today. All the doctors are closely monitoring her and trying to get her pain level down. Madison and I enjoyed a weekend with daddy! It was so nice to spend time with him and we both had missed him! So thankful for Ryan! Harrison and Mae enjoyed grandparent time! We are so thankful for them! The affects of chemo take 7-14 days after you end treatment.... Madison finished chemo on Wednesday and today mouth sores have arrived. She is in pain, but still got out a few smiles! Thank you Kirk Boys for the cute pjs! You already know the way to a girls heart:) Please pray specifically for Madison's pain level this week. Love you all! |
